Third Confirmed COVID-19 case in Grant County, resident from Mattawa, WA

A third person in Grant County has tested positive for coronavirus, according to the Grant County Health District.

The third patient, who has not been linked to the other cases, was the probable case reported on Friday that additional testing was needed. This patient is a male in his 40’s, who had foreign travel prior to his illness and is a priest with the Catholic Church in Mattawa, Washington He is still hospitalized.

Health district staff is working to inform everyone who had close contact with the patient, the district said.
