The 2019 Ag Parade was what Moses Lake needed to kick off the winter holidays

The 2019 Agricultural Appreciation Parade was a night where the town came together and made some new memories. Many downtown business stayed open for the evening event.


The 25th annual event was hosted by the Downtown Moses Lake Business Association and directed and organized by the Association's director Brandon Nicholas. This was Nicholas's second time organizing the agricultural parade downtown. There were over 30 decorated farm and industrial vehicles alone with many more in the form of a group walk, and or vehicle entries. The streets were filled with many children smiling as they saw Santa coming down the street with snow magically falling from the sky.


Many locals and tourists packed together on 3rd and 4th ave as they watched the parade go by, locals said the following after the parade ended,

"It was nice taking a break from the daily stress of news, politics, and work to make a nite of new memories with my partner and kids"
"I love seeing the smile on everyone's faces during the downtown events, it gives me a positive feeling about the city"

The Ag parade has came a long way stated many locals, Ag parade announcer and local radio personality Dale Roth said

"We had the parade during the rain, freezing rain, snow, and dense fog where you could barely see the parade. But at the end it's all worth it and every year it gets better and better."
