Mayor Nadine Woodward has enacted a curfew for downtown Spokane till 5:00 am tomorrow morning.

Mayor Woodward said that 150 national guard members in downtown Spokane Monday afternoon.
Governor Inslee has enatcted the Washington State National Guard to deploy to the entire state.
According to a release from the Governor's Office, Maj. Gen. Bret Daugherty, commander of the Washington National Guard, is working with Spokane law enforcement to determine details of the deployment of the National Guard.
“We must not let these illegal and dangerous actions detract from the anger so many feel at the deep injustice laid so ugly and bare by the death of George Floyd,” Inslee said. “But we also will not turn away from our responsibility to protect the residents of our state.”
At least 600 troops responded to protests in Seattle and Bellevue over the weekend.
The Nike Factory store at River Park Square Mall has been broken into and has been smally looted before being stopped by security.
Armed citizens who call themselves Militias have been walking downtown Spokane guarding the streets. Mayor Woodward has asked them to back down and let trained SPD and SCSO officers handle the situation downtown.
