MOSES LAKE - One man was gravely wounded in a shooting in the Larson Housing community Tuesday night.
Grant County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to the area of Carswell and Schilling just after 9:15 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
A black-colored sedan had reportedly been hit by gunfire numerous times. The driver endured a gunshot wound, authorities stated.
A second vehicle, identified as the suspect’s vehicle, reportedly fled south of the intersection after the shooting, according to the sheriff’s office.
The victim traveled over a curb thereafter and into the yard of a home near the intersection where the shooting transpired. Medics were dispatched and the victim was brought to Samaritan Hospital in grave condition.
Witnesses or citizens with information that is related to the shooting are implored to call MACC Dispatch at 762-1160. The investigation is ongoing and details are limited at this time, the sheriff’s office said.
