No injuries reported in small Warden plane crash Sunday afternoon

There were no injuries when a small aircraft crashed outside of the small town of Warden south of Moses Lake Sunday afternoon. The aircraft was single piloted by Grant Cox he was flying a 1989 Christen Industries model A-1. According to GCSO (Grant County Sheriffs Office) When Cox was coming in for landing on a small airstrip by Road 2 SE/Road P SE, he struck a power line causing the aircraft to flip over and land belly up.


Cox did not suffer any injuries and was the only person flying in the aircraft.
