UPDATE:
Cooper Wilson, 22, of Moses Lake was booked today on charges of felony hit and run, fail to summon assistance, driving while license suspended 2nd degree and malicious mischief 2nd degree. The charges stem from a hit and run collision last night in which a man riding a horse was seriously injured and his horse was killed.
Wilson was located after the police department received numerous calls from members of the public providing information.
Thanks to everyone who called. Within 15 minutes of the post going up on our Facebook page last night, Wilson was identified as the driver. By noon today, he was in custody and the vehicle was recovered.
This is the way it is supposed to work, the community and your police department working together for the common good.
