The Moses Lake Manta Rays Aquatics Swim Team program donated $500 to the “Shop with a Cop” program last week.
The Manta Rays Aquatics donate the proceeds from their annual Thanksgiving swim meet to a local charity of their choice. The team has chosen to donate the proceeds to the “Shop with a Cop” program in the last several years.
“The donation helps MLPD expand the reach of the Shop with a Cop program, and give more kids the opportunity for a better Christmas. MLPD would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Manta Rays for their generous donation,” the Moses Lake Police Department stated Tuesday night.
The Moses Lake Police Department along with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office will conduct the annual event on Wednesday night.
