Back in April of 2019, Washington State Troopers found the two windshields broken out of the passenger side in a car and a semi-truck. Both of the drivers told WSP they noticed a woman walking away from the Peninsula Dr overpass.
MLPD found and arrested Bechyne near West Lakeshore Drive and was then taken into custody. The driver of the semi truck told WSP that if it wasn't for his sunglasses he would of lost his vision as small fragments of glass hit the inside cabin and the driver's mouth and face.
According to state records, Bechyne was ordered to undergo treatment, which included an order authorizing the administration of involuntary medication. She was found competent following her treatment at Eastern State Hospital.
