M.L. Visitor Center Moves to Downtown Museum

- Downtown Moses Lake

The city of Moses Lake will station the Visitor Information Center at the Moses Lake Museum and Art Center as of Monday, December 16. The museum is located close to downtown at 401 S. Balsam St.

“Earlier this year, the Chamber of Commerce had the visitor center and they relinquished their marketing funds to the city,” said Lynne Lynch, communications and marketing specialist. “We were happy to step up and take this on.”

The museum hosts an array of locally relevant exhibits and displays that make it a good fit to serve as the home for the information center.

“We have a fairly new building, our civic center was built in 2011, and we have plenty of space to take this own and we’re happy to do it,” said Lynch.

The building is 10,500 square feet for the museum and also houses a 3,800 square foot auditorium.  The hours for both the Visitor Information Center and museum are

Monday-Friday, 10-5 and Saturday 10-4.
