Four, including child, killed in head-on crash in Granger on SR-22 Wednesday morning

Four people including a child were killed in an head on crash on state highways 22, and 223 around 3:00am Wednesday morning near the small town of Granger 30 minutes south of Yakima. The crash happened at the intersection of State Routes 22 and 223 around 3 a.m. Wednesday, Trooper Chris Thorson said. He said the child who died was not wearing a seat belt, The Yakima Herald-Republic reported. Another child is in critical condition at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital, Thorson said.

All of those involved in the crash were members of the Yakima Nation and due to that, Tribal police are investigating the crash. No other information was released.
